I have a fascination with Drum Tables and when I discovered this table I didn't think twice about the work it might need. I threw it in my car and couldn't wait to get home and get to work on it. First, I stripped and sanded the entire piece including all the pieces falling apart as I sanded.
After this I rebuilt the table making it once again sturdy the way it originally was built. I decided to paint the table using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old Violet and seal the Drum Table with Annie Sloan White Wax.
The hardware for the drawer was changed out and painted using Rust-Oleum Metallic Finish along with the metal Paws that cover each of the three legs.
This Drum Table was one of my biggest challenges yet, but worth every hour spent repurposing it including rebuilding the drawer. I was very fortunate to find this one-of-a-kind piece.
