This Chest/End Table is huge and such a versatile piece!!!
This piece could be a buffet table, entry decor, bedroom decor, television stand, or for a playroom. The options are endless. I was so excited when I discovered this piece. First, the piece was stripped and sanded. I had no idea that a piece of furniture could actually have layers of furniture polish that looked like wood with chips!! Well, lesson learned, too much polish can look and act like paint and varnish!!! I ended up using varnish remover for the layers and layers of furniture polish that had built up over the years. I painted the table using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Pure White (knowing her paint is extremely adhesive) and sealed the entire piece with Annie Sloan Clear Wax. This chest/end table is truly one-of-a-kind and absolutely gorgeous. It is a piece that I will have a very difficult time letting go!!!
